José Ramos Owner Prime Performance
My name is José Ramos and I am the Owner/Operator of Prime Performance Training Systems. I have been a Fitness Professional for 10 years. I played sports all throughout my high school years. I suffered a serious ankle injury that cut my career short in going to play college football at a high level. I Chose a career as a fitness professional after overcoming my own struggles of weight and unhealthy habits after high school.
I decided there is no better way to feel close to my passion of fitness then to assist people in their pursuit of fitness. I have had the opportunity of working with many clients of different walks of life, from musicians, athletes, house moms, and the novice trainee. This is not my job or just something I do on the side…this is my career. I pride myself in the results I get with the people I work with.
I enjoy all sports with boxing being my favorite. I enjoy boxing so much that I work with a trainer to get the work of hitting the heavy bag, speed bag, and the mits. This is my time to unwind when I don’t have to worry about writing program for a client or myself. It is done for me. I also enjoy reading, movies, and listening to music. My guilty pleasure is vanilla ice cream. who’s isn’t I have to say being a father of a beautiful baby girl has to be the proudest moment in my life. Her smiling face brings sunshine to my life every moment I spend with her.
I hold professional certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In order to stay on top of the latest research and training methods, I attend many seminars, classes and conferences each year.

To get started in any of our programs here at Prime we first want to take the time to find out what exactly you need by performing our Movement Assessment and evaluation. This assessment is the very specific plan we will use to design the program to get you to your goals. Every single member of Prime has a program designed for them.
During your Consultation we will learn more about our health history, any past injuries, your training history along with your specific goals. We will also take you through a range of motion and flexibility evaluation and – The Functional Movement Screen. During the Functional Movement Screen we will have you perform basic movements and we will find out exactly where your program should start and what it should include to get you started right.

My name is Brittany Tucker and I am a coach at Prime Performance Training Systems. I have been a coach for 3 years making my way down the coast from New Hampshire (where it all began) to New Jersey. In high-school I played basketball and throughout college, I stayed close to the sport as both a participant in intramural sports as well as a referee/supervisor of the refs during my time there. I have always enjoyed teaching and had an obvious love for sports so when I was told “you should become a coach” I jumped at the first opportunity and have loved it ever since. I am a coach by night and IT Project Manager by day, both roles tap into my passion for leadership and working with people. I have coached all skill levels from novice to more experienced clients – teaching and identifying strengths as well as opportunities for improvement in technique and form while motivating and having a great, fun-filled workout.
In addition to coaching, I enjoy competing. I have competed in 4 Kettlebell Sport Competitions and International Kettlebell Games, having achieved my goal of Candidate Master of Sport for the Woman’s Long Cycle in my most recent. My next competition goals will probably be with barbells – possibly powerlifting but stay tuned…. I haven’t quite found that strong love for running but I think that will come with time, practice, and a few road racesJ. My favorite exercises are push presses, chin-ups, and thrusters.
When I am not working out, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones – whether its watching movies, going to concerts, playing games, or just sitting around the table sharing laughs…I am all about it! I enjoy reading, listening and dancing to music, and eating (I LOVE FOOD)!
I am excited to be a part of the Prime Performance Training System and look forward to working with you soon!
